Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers.

I’ll update the first post but mention it here as well. My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 heart failure which from what I understand could also be the cause of the pneumonia. That and the underlying lung infection have not responded well to 2 different antibiotics they have given him. They called in a specialist and are in the process of trying another treatment. They also have him on a dopamine iv drip to help with his heart function.

He is still in very serious condition so please keep the prayers and good thoughts coming. I'll update when I hear any change.
