Good luck Clint! Many people that I have talked to are leaving things off of their resumes. A few have gone as far as leaving off higher education like not mentioning they have Master's degrees so they can take an entry level position. Many of my friends and folks I am familiar with are leaving the country to take jobs in emerging markets. It's tougher for a family man to just uproot and go that route but globalization it seems is forcing most people to be nomads. It's a scary time for all of us man but you'll get through it.
If you have the time maybe volunteering somewhere will get you in the door. This is what the last person that I know of to find a job did. Again, best of luck brother.

I know it is easier said than done, but keep putting one foot in front of the other. It helps the cause and you get to feel good about what you are doing and have, as well as working on what you don't.

It is my belief you never have to apologize to BOTL, priorities are just that, and you have been around longer than me; you know we are, and always will be here.

Good luck. I've been there. Fortunately the wife was still working and Obama was sending me a check every two weeks. And a PT job too! Found a job after 8 months. Had to move though!:crying:

Thanks for the support, prayers, and ideas, Brothers.
It's motivating and uplifting to read through the positive comments....One of the reasons I love this site so much.
Your family and loved ones are kinda "supposed" to be encouraging, ya know? But reading the encouragement from you guys is different....Somehow it means more. Hard to explain, but I think you know what I mean.
Thanks so much :)
I have a few leads....One involves returning to Disney in a marketing role (which is the bulk of my experience), the other is a GM position at Islands, and the other involves sales.
I have also expand my handyman/gardening gigs, and have a few small jobs next week (not much cash, but every bit helps and honest work is honest work)
Hopefully something comes through soon.

Whichever lead(s) you chase, best of luck! Feel free to drop me a line too if you think I can help (ie resume review).
