I did re-season my humi again, beads were inside all the time, almost all of them got clear so they were properly hydrated. For 3 days while a shot glass willed with distilled water and a sponge soaked in it were in my humi, the hygrometer read around 75-76%.
Then I put beads back to tubes, put the cigars back in and in few hours I was back at 66-68%
To be honest, as a new smoker I'm not sure I could tell the difference between cigars from 66% and 70% humidor but still don't get why this happens.
The only thing I might try is to get a digital hygrometer and/or to check it with Boveda calibration kit.
