Surely you understand that Ted Kennedy was a highly polarizing politician that a great many people in this country disliked, disagreed with, and never forgave for his past? How can you expect that people won't express their feelings on the subject?

They did the same for Michael Jackson, and if George W. Bush died today I'm sure the same would happen to him.

I'm not saying it's right or nice, but I am saying it's just human nature (see what I did there, with the MJ reference? Funny, right?) and there's no reason to get your panties in a bunch over it.

So buck up soldier! Get back on your horse--even though he's a tall one--and don't let the mean kids chase you out of the playground!

Don't leave just because of a few bad apples. Some people just can't help themselves, or maybe they were just brought up without manners, or the ability to hold there tongue. I am sure a lot more people wanted to say the things some people said but actually didn't because they respect the dead and do have some ethical fiber in them but you don't see those people because they didn't post here. Don't throw away the carton just because one egg came broken.

Wow you still don't get it. It isn't that you have an opinion, it is that this wasn't a type of thread seeking opinions. It was a thread to respect a fallen American that worked for the people whether you liked him or not. It is the fact that some things said were distasteful and people thought the people in this forum were above that.

You should really change your signature though.

Although I did not agree with his politics....I will say RIP Mr. Kennedy.

There are 2 topics that will tear any board apart...politics and religion.
