I got to work just to turn around and come home. Not sure what I have yet but feels like the start of the flu to me. Going to doc in a box in the morning to see what exactly I came down with. Lucky me, I’m a hospital employee and found out last week 5 or 6 co workers out with the flu and having a few patients with it as well......

I feel bad Abraham Lincoln missed the one in 1866.
Tested positive for the flu, so tamiflu and prednisone for 5 days. No work until middle of next week. So just under a week to play it safe. Fine by me.

How often to you get the chance to stay in bed until noon, have your wife stroke your forehead and bring you something to drink, have the kids play quietly in the backroom and go 4 days without a shower? Dude, milk it for what it's worth!!

First things first, you’re not worthless. Sadly, this is what the flu does. It puts your ass out of commission. You need to lay down and rest. Don’t do anything at all. I’m always up and about doing something so for me this is driving me crazy.
And now apparently with this year’s horrible strand is now up to a week of recovery time. Usually it was 3-5 days. Just stay hydrated, rest and make sure you try to eat something even though you’re not hungry. I have no taste buds whatsoever. Hopefully today better than yesterday for that....
Take it all one day at a time.
And this^^^^^^ although my wife is working so I’m on my own until she comes home. Plus the dog wants nothing to do with me lol.

Flu is a real bit** this year my cousin in Kali was down 3 weeks. It was mostly respiratory.
I’m the 8th employee on my floor to get it. Apparently, it’s spreading like crazy with staff members.

Like I said it a pulmonary strain, I try frequent hand washing, stay away from sick people. I spent 10 year in the medical field, and can one assume I developed some ]sort of resistance. NO I do not get the Flu or Phemuna shot, I honestly have been very lucky.
People with cold or pulmonary symptoms need to stay home, so they do not cont image their co-workers. JMHO.
