yeah, this type of crap just sickens me. I was in the Marine Corps and went to a few of my friends funerals and luckily we never had these problems, but I have heard about the signs 'thank god for dead soldiers' and 'they got what they signed up for' - Those idiots have no idea - Most of them have been mommy and daddy kids who were raised 'never hit another person' but they don't care about protesting such a thing. Just wish we could go to their funerals and protest their views and decisions - but then we would be the bad guy. oh well

You have to wonder how people were raised.

While my family does not have a long history of military service (although my Dad was in the Air Corps in WWII) I was raised, and raised my children to respect people that serve in the armed forces.

We raised our family in the suburbs out side Chicago. We were able to provide more for our children than we had. Our kids are open-minded and tolerant. But this type of stuff would sicken my kids as they have a number of friends that have chosen to serve in the military. As a parent I find these actions inconceivable

While I would probably be called a conservative, this kind of behavior transcends politics and party and tramples the basic foundation of our country. The country that provided my immigrant grandparents the opportunity to live in a free society and build a future. The future that has been defended by honorable men and women in the armed forces since the revolution. Here you are not required to agree with everything, you can speak your mind.

The one thing you should understand as an American citizen, is the respect that should be given for the sacrifices of others for this country.
