Lou, My family's prayers go out to you for a full recovery and your wife for peace and strength. First off what kind of doctor thinks that vision loss after a procedure is from dehydration. Sounds like a lot of incompetence. Any procedure from a root canal to stitches could result in a clot especially, from what you said, the doctor was saying to the fellows. They could have dislodged a clot. What do you think a stroke is. I hope they answer to a lot of questions preferably to an attorney.
Oh Lou, I am sorry to hear of your scary ordeal. My prayers go our to you and the family. Glad that you are feeling better and hope you get some kind of compensation for all you have been through; from what should have been handled differently from the very start. So glad you are back with us and looking forward to your updates. Take care brother and let us know if you need anything.
Good to hear you're working through this and things are improving. Hang in there and keep a positive outlook. Be strong and recover, you have age on your side. Thoughts and prayer are with you.
I echo on what all the brothers have mentioned. I am glad that it didnt turn out as bad as it could have been. My stepfather is a Neurologist so I know how much worse it could be. Get better, rest up and if you need us we are here.
Good to hear you are recovering and take your time man. Strokes are really weird and have all kinda of effects. Good luck with it all man and keep us posted
Scary story Lou, glad you're feeling better. It can be frightening when interns are involved in serious procedures. One fucked up a Spinal tap on my wife several years ago causing weeks of pain and problems.
Thanks Fellas for all the warm wishes . . Sorry I been away for A while, With the vision being blurry its gets frustrating trying to read the posts .. but it has been getting better day by day and i'm going to try to get back to being active here. My wife took me away for the weekend which was nice. Some time to unwind and get back to basics. Thanks again for the kind words.
Didn't you pay attention in health class when they said you would go blind? Now stop playing with it! J/K bro....glad you're doing better! But seriously, stop playing with it.

It's also interesting because {long story short} last Friday I drove myself to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. I was admitted to the hospital and had numerous tests culminating in a heart cath. Unlike yours they went through the major vein in my groin.
