Mot of the cigars I buy and smoke are under 50, but I don't really have anything AGAINST the larger rings. I just rarely buy them.

i smoke alot of them over 54 RG myself , i just prefer them for my big a$$ hands and the flavor they seem to produce

I have a number of 54-60 ring gauge cigars and I enjoy them more than the 48-50 gauges.

It's more like who wants to taste more tobacco/filler than they do the outside wrapper. I like an even distribution of everything...a balance of wrapper/binder/filler and have made the Churchill my favorite size...toros are next. From these cigars I get a good 2 hour smoke and the whole experience of just relaxing and not feeling pressured to finish is what smoking a cigar is all about.
