So some guy came in to the ER with Severe respiratory distress. He was so bad he needed a intubation, where we shove a tube into his lungs to breath for him. Well he could almost not talk, he could only talk in single words. think how short of breath you would have to be to talk like that.. well after 80 of lasix and bipap we saved his life. I love my job

You took his wallet right, just kidding man. I remember way back when when I started off as an EMT. My first call was a full code and I got my first death. It was an ALS unit too. Glad you were able to help someone.

Awesome man. Feels good. I gave CPR to a guy in a mall in Milan Italy. He just fell over flat opn his back with a massive heart attack. He was done for no pulse, no breathing. I was 15, hanging with my aunt, and had just finished my rescue diver certification, so I was ready for it and knew what to do. The italian "Waaaa Waaaa" ambulance got there right as he took a breath, and they took over. I felt like the king of the world for the rest of the trip. I don't think I could handle your job though. At some point I would have to work with a messed up kid, and that might be too much for me.

A VPAP? Or how are they different?
I don't know how this works in a medical sense. But, my dad has a BiPap machine because he quit breathing X amount of times while sleeping. It helps with that, in a not so medical explanation :help:
