So I thought I would put a thread together to show you all how to save some money on shipping. My wife has been doing some shipping with some cosmetic clubs she is in and showed this to me. I am hoping this can save you guys some money as I didn't know you could do it this way.

Instead of shipping through USPS you can go to WWW.lapyap.COM/SHIPNOW (link won't work you will have to change lapyap to PP)and ship through your PP account. So if you want to continue to ship priority mail flat rate you can still do so and simply use the PP website. Your packages will only cost 6.10 instead of 6.80. Apparently PP extends the commercial rate to anyone running postage through them.

Now I have decided to take this a step further and you can ship USPS first class mail through the website instead of using priority. As an example I can ship an 8oz small box to Phoenix, AZ for 2.60. If you purchase your boxes here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D9T4ZBI/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 you can get them for a unit cost of .75 each. And they are almost the exact same size as a SFR. So if you were to ship you could use PP, print labels from home, have boxes on hand and ship out for 3.35 per package.

The only catch is that you need a kitchen/postal scale because you will have to get an accurate weight on your packages but these can be bought very cheap.

If you do go over 13oz and have to use Priority, there's a mailing box that's a little larger than an SFR in all dimensions, probably affording you about 50% more usable volume, that fits inside the Flat Rate Bubble mailer and ships at the same cost as an SFR. Significantly cheaper than bumping up to an MFR, and an added layer of protection free!
