That's wonderful. You have much reason to be proud. Drug and alcohol addiction is surely one of the worst of the mistakes we foolish humans subject ourselves to. Your sobriety is not only to be admired for the wisdom, maturity and strength it shows in your character, but also for the act of love it shows in your relationship to your family.

Obviously, you brought joy just to this loose-knit internet brotherhood, your family must be very proud of you. You're fighting the good fight. Stand tall, man.

Seriously I know it's a tough road. I have some family members who have been troubled and even died from drug abuse. Good for you and there's nothing shameless about it!!
