Should a LE ever be made standard production?

I'll see just about the entire Padron family next weekend, I'll ask. but yep it's one hell of a cigar, and yep I understand it was to be realeased each year in limited quantitites. I hope they quality remains.

It doesn't really matter to me because the original is always going to be the more important one. With all these new opus sharks swimming around the originals are still much much better. It makes me think of the upmann mag 50 EL from 05...that cigar rocks but the regular production line stinks IMO.

Mitch,
I always talk about how you gifted me those clear havanas. Those few days I brought those to the leaf to smoke with all the brothers were a couple of the best. Having said that lately I have begun to go "back to the basics". I am completely tired of all the Le stuff. I don't know about you guys but I've begun to get wore out from chasing all the Le bandwagons around town. Right now I'm almost exhausted to say the least. The other day I smoked the Coh GR and think it's probably the most refined cigar to date I've had. But after finishing I thought to myself, "What a great cigar, I wonder if the Siglo VIs are this good w 5yrs of aging at a much more reasonable price." A few hours later I smoked a Noella w almost 2 years of age on it. The Noella was my 1st must have box purchase of Tats. This spring I'll need to make it box #3. After smoking it I confirmed my thoughts to myself about the Le bandwagon. Im getting off and seeing what other reasonable priced cigars I've forgot about lately or have just been missing in general.
Don't get me wrong I have completely fallen in love w the T110 1st release ORs, Sw Maddies (I wish I would of kept more of the 2 boxes I had). And a few others. But do I need all of these Htfs in my humi to keep me happy. Not 1 bit. Some of the best days I've had this past year are not always with the best LE cigar, but with the most htf brothers of the leaf and a good stick in general.
Thanks for listening to my 2cents,
(Now were did I put wish list for all the ccs and reg release cigars at?)
Justin
Edit: Well I guess after all that I did't even answer the question.
I'm fine with the annual limited releases, but after that I would like to see just a kick ass cigars made. No 1 and done and back again. But even with that I don't think I'll be trying to grab as many anymore.

I personally don't have a problem with a company putting out a limited release to see what the public response is before rolling it out on a larger scale. Excellent cigars that can be made consistant should be kept around IMHO. My only problem is when they say when it's gone it's gone and then it comes back again.

I think for a lot of people it comes down to how much value you place on what is not the cigar. I think there is some value in a cigar that is rarer that what you can go down to the corner B&M to pick up. Espcialy if its one that a person want's and hasn't gotten, the forbidden fruit.

I mark the special occasions of my life with cigars that are rare, the more special the occasion, the more likely I'll grab something that I'll never have a shot at again. I also, take pride in being the host that can hand someone something they've always wanted to try, but have never been able to get the chance.

I also, like good cigars.
