Need you guys' opinions.

I've got a job i could take if i want it. Problem is, it's about half the money i used to be making.

I've not had a whole lot of luck, actually, i've had no luck, and have conceeded the fact that i'm most likely gonna have to take a step back financially. Tha'ts not been a problem, but this job is a big step back.

My real question is...

Should i take it?

My thoughts are that with more and more lay offs looming, any job is a good job. adn this one pays more than unemployment.

wat you all think?

Take it or keep waiting and hoping.

if it pays more than unemployment and its work you are capable of doing, then certainly go for it. there is nothing that says you can't keep looking also. take the job, make more money than you're getting now, and keep looking! congrats by the way!!

Well, if you take it, then you have money coming in, which will allow you to continued searching for a better job. Food on the table, roof over the head~!

Id take it and keep looking, but thats just me. Some money is better than none, but if I was single... I might ride that unemployment train all the way to the end of the tracks.

You gotta ask yourself...

How long have I been out of work?
How long can I continue to not work?
When might that special job be available?
Does it pay more than unemployment?

Take it. Times have changed. Companies used to be loyal to employees and vica versa. No longer. Take the job and keep looking. Who knows it may grow to something that pays twice what you made before. I know from personal experience that such things happen. Plus it is ALAWYS easier to get a job when you have one.

Besides, it fills in the gap in your employment record. Not just sitting around hoping, Shows your are employable and NOT lazy........:applause::peace:

Congrats on even being offered a job. There are a lot of people out there wishing they could get a hit on a job. Half of something is better then a whole of nothing.

I think it shouldn't matter what we think if you need the money for the family you should take and you can always be on the lookout for something better, right? Good Luck!
