The dress box doesn't have as good of a seal from the factory. Even as much as needing a brass nail to keep it shut. Slb/cabs require the lids to interlock into the surrounding walls of the box itself. More air inside the space but less of it being exchanged and at a much "gracefull" pace. But then again I think MRN is a authoritive figure on this topic. So Im a moron to a few of those gentlemen that were referenced.... Also the actual porousness of a dress box compared to a solid wood cab box could be looked at as well.
