Aaaaallllllll the Party Shorts, please! Haha. I don’t remember who turned me on to them, but I’m glad they did.Current state of affairs makes this one of my regular purchases recently along with lots of Party Shorts.
Because I'm a geek, I looked at the number of posts in this thread from Jan 1 to May 19 in each of the past four years:Guessing this will be the last of my purchases for now unless a “deal” pops up or the supply chain gets back to normal.

With the prices in their current state, I'm afraid you're right.Because I'm a geek, I looked at the number of posts in this thread from Jan 1 to May 19 in each of the past four years:
2019 - 326
2020 - 123
2021 - 96
2022 - 32
I see a trend...

I agree with Tom that the prices are having a huge impact on purchases, but also the traffic seems to be way down around here now so less posts.Because I'm a geek, I looked at the number of posts in this thread from Jan 1 to May 19 in each of the past four years:

Because I need help, I looked at the non Cubans "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread between Jan 1st and May 19th of the past 4 years and did a comparison to the Cuban "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread.I agree with Tom that the prices are having a huge impact on purchases, but also the traffic seems to be way down around here now so less posts.
I for one have bought a lot more NCs the past 2 1/2 years (around the time of the pandemic) than for almost 20 years prior. The recent surge in CC prices has only increased this trend for me, though I still smoke CC about 80% of the time. Even that is way down (it was likely closer to 95% pre pandemic).Because I need help, I looked at the non Cubans "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread between Jan 1st and May 19th of the past 4 years and did a comparison to the Cuban "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread.
While over the past 4 years your observation that there are less posts in both threads is correct, the trend in NC looks far healthier than the trend in CC.
NC Posts YOY
2022 186 32.9%
2021 140 -53.2%
2020 299 -3.9%
2019 311
CC Posts YOY
2022 32 -66.7%
2021 96 -22.0%
2020 123 -62.3%
2019 326
Just about the time prices on Cubans dramatically increased, posts in the CC thread went down and posts in the NC thread went up.
Coincidence? Maybe.
