I agree with Tom that the prices are having a huge impact on purchases, but also the traffic seems to be way down around here now so less posts.

Because I need help, I looked at the non Cubans "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread between Jan 1st and May 19th of the past 4 years and did a comparison to the Cuban "Show Your Latest Purchase" thread.

While over the past 4 years your observation that there are less posts in both threads is correct, the trend in NC looks far healthier than the trend in CC.

I for one have bought a lot more NCs the past 2 1/2 years (around the time of the pandemic) than for almost 20 years prior. The recent surge in CC prices has only increased this trend for me, though I still smoke CC about 80% of the time. Even that is way down (it was likely closer to 95% pre pandemic).

Yup. I had planned to stock up big on CC's but was about 6 months too late getting started. Ended up going with nearly all NCs instead. Are CC's better? I still think so. Twice-the-price better? Nope.

My latest purchase (1 Box - 15 Tubos CoRos, 3er Partagas Series No 4, & 3er H Upmann Magnum 54s) is included in my newly organized top shelf (100% Cuban)l

On the 2nd shelf (also 100% cuban), I've got my other 2 items from the latest purchase and that's the box of Monte #2s (10er) & the 5er of Aged Corona Especiales, which were technically a trade but hey...
