I just feel bad sometimes about the braggadocia, I think for some it creates a competitive environment and some brothers can't help over consuming to keep up with the jones'. Can leave them in a tight spot, especially with this hobby, lets face it, not cheap....

Is there bragging going on? It might give that appearance, but I think that is a perception issue. I see no bragging, just excitement and want to show others who have the same love. Sure, that Brooks haul is huge, but he sold the extras here and to other brothers close to home, for nothing. WTG Brooks! Wish I had the funds to grab them up. I think the environment is the one that gets created in your mind and theirs I honestly have never thought I needed to run out and score some great box or I will feel inferior, and it puts me in a tight spot. Really, I think for the "some" you refer too, it is their issue if they feel others are bragging and how they react to it.

Oh ok, Brandon. Don't feel funny. I think it would go on the other end. I do not have much to brag about in what cigars I get, and in answering the question about the post, maybe money is short right now for people or maybe just some like to keep it private.
Part of the reason I enjoyed the thread was to see all the sticks that people were getting. It was more than that though. I really enjoyed watching someone get a HTF or the rare finds that were unexpected during a "stop" at a B&M. I also learned of many sticks I would have never heard of otherwise...
I think the culture of the people here is completely different which is why I love BOTL...So maybe this post will slowly fall into the abyss maybe not, just wanted to give it a fair shake......

I don't have pics, but this weekend I was able to score some Drac and Boris singles, plus today I received my first ever purchase of a box of cigars! I chose Short Stories, partially for the cost, but mostly for their Uber-deliciousness.
