I don't know how anyone can do this.

At 1.5" pretty much every cigar I've had is burning hot, and giving off flavors I don't want to end on.

I've had the rare cigar that makes it to 1.25" but that's about it.

How does that even taste anything close to good at that point?

That's what separate Habanos from the others. Many times the burn has gotten me before I wanted to quit. As for Non-Cuban, you are right never burned my fingertips usually tap out with an inch left on the cigar. Gets too hot and harsh
