Yeah I wanted to try out another CT wrapper before ordering another pound of tiny stuff from wlt... So I had to throw another sample on my order.

That corojo has a reddish hue, but it shipped real wet, so I'm not sure what the true color will be. Stretches pretty well and similar veining and thickness to the Ecuador viso I enjoy. We'll see!!

Can you post a picture that show the spacing in the veining adjacent to one another clearly along the mid-rib? .. you'll have to kind of stretch it out a little.

What ones do you have? If you can still get CT from Jorge, so far his stuff is the gold standard. I haven't tried the stuff you have there, tho.

Sure thing, some of it is very light, but most of it is this darker, reddish hue

I don't know. I last bought from him about 10 months ago. Bit of a disaster for me if he's closed up shop. His CT products are the only wrappers I ever really loved.

Just purchased on eBay. Otto Holzapfel no 81 mold. Looks like the Upmann Butifarra/flying pig kind of mold. I'll now in a week or so.

I hit him up on FB about a month ago maybe 2. A friend of mine said he told him when he ran out of leaf he was done. When I asked he said only molds and chavetas. I had never talked to him on fb before just email. Maybe he didnt recognize me and didnt want to deal with new people. If you you talk to him let me know what he says please.

I was wrong the butifarra is only about 5in. I thought I had smoked a bigger upmann shaped like that in the past. Do you know if a longer size was made in that vitola? Maybe it was a johnny o I had not sure.

thanks, there is a certain strain that has a specific veining pattern where they come close together 3/4 or so ways back on the leaf. you know?

First impressions, thick leaf and thick veins. Not super forgiving stretch... Better taste amazing or I won't be using it.

The CT wrapper is real nice. Large leaves, gorgeous color, good stretch.
