Brief update:
I've invested in some new hygrometers and a pack of boveta packets (62 %). The hygrometers showed that the humidity in the glass jar was about 80 %. I've started airing out the jar (and the tupperware container), and since January, they've been at around 65 % RH.
I've also bought 4 JLP Nacionales in November, to use them to test the smoking conditions. I've had one yesterday, and it didn't really go to well. The first third was sort of OK (as much as one could expect from JLP), the rest had the bitter and resinous taste that I've had from the rest of the cigars after the humidity shot up. Will try the rest before trying more expensive cigars. On the other hand, I've also had a Macanudo Ascot from the tupperware container, and it smoked very well (mild & creamy, ligthly spicy, no sign of bitterness in the first half). So, I guess I'll get a couple of those to probe the conditions in the glass jar.
