Thanks for the update, things should be getting a little less hectic soon. Then you can start decor.....redecorating. Congrats on becoming a home owner.

oh hell,

less than 24 hours till I sign all the paper work for the house. Last couple of days has sucks ass, people telling me that they do have this or that while others say that they have sent this or that. Eric you need this done, and this, and this.... :angryteet I HAVE SENT THAT OVER TO YOU THREE TIMES NOW.....I understand Eric we must have misplace it, can you send it again. :shame:
I cant believe these people have lasted in this world so long without killling each other off.
But everything is done. Just waiting on the final approvial and waiting to hear the total amount I need to bring to the table for closing. I am excited but ready for it to be over. Sorry to bring this thread back up, last time promise.

Well worth the effort. Once the effort is made and done, the home is your's. Last day to make things right. Once sign the paperwork, hard to turn back or make sure all is to your liking. Be cool and enjoy owning the home brother.

Yes, the effort is definately worth it ... especially at tax time. Home ownership has it's up and downs, but over the long haul it is a great investment.

Congrats on the house. So now that you and your GF are locked into this contract and will have an investment in the new house, are the two of you going to enter a contract of marriage as well? :)

Think hard about it? You either do or don't. But that's how I feel about stuff like that. Good luck with everything!

Congrats! I just sold mine (close in the middle of this month), but it was on the market for like 3 months. It would have been longer, but I lowered it to help it sell quicker. I have friends who've had their houses on the market for over 8 months. It's just a slow market right now.

since the market is so slow we are renting out our other house. When the market picks back up then we will sell it, until then anyone want to rent a house? LOL
