I have slept on one once and did not like it. It is def. a glorified air mattress. and it divides you from you spouse (which may not be a bad thing on some nights lol). LOL it looks like this -> [|]

I use to sell mattresses in my prior career for Mattress Firm. I sold Sleep Number and Tempurpedic side by side. If I wanted, I could have got the top of the line sleep# bed for $560 vs the $4k plus price tag. I found it difficult to sell their product honestly, especially if the customer wanted to see inside the bed. The modular construction of the beds made them look cheap on the inside. The vulcanized rubber air bladders look like ones you use in the pool. Now don't get me wrong I sold a good few of these beds but they were exchanged more often than not compared to the Tempurpedic beds. My suggestion is that buy from a retailer with a "comfort guarantee" and be sure to read the fine print. Retailers throw things in there like a stain will void it and such. Usually there is a nominal fee as well. However, if you do not like your bed you can exchange it and not be out thousands of dollars!

I forgot about that divider almost felt like you had to climb over a wall to get near your spouse.

I have a ComforPedic and like it, I myself don't sleep allot maybe 6 hr (to many years as a adrenalin junkie)....
I did help a guy move a few years ago, I was amazed of the construction of the Sleep number bed, Looked like a water bed frame and a big plastic bag, It was easy to set up..... I have only slept on them a few time in Hotels, not enough to judge if I liked it or not ..............

When I travel I typically stay at a Hilton Garden Inn and all of their queen sized beds have something similar to this where you can dial in the firmness of your matress. It is nice, but not so nice where I would spend thousands so I could have the same thing at home.
