About the flavor changing , many CC and NC brands do apply 2 leaf for binder , if one is Volado , the other may be Seco , so when it is smoked , the flavor changes in about the half way point .
The other reason is , the most nutrient concentrated part on a leaf is the tip , then the edges, so that is why all filler binder and wrapper leafs are rolled accordingly so that you always light from the tip of those leafs , hence the changes in flavor . M2C:cbig:

Smoked one by accident backwards once. What a disaster. I didn't notice a flavor difference since the cigar was falling apart as I smoked it. Won't make that mistake twice. What a waste.
