carguy I am stalking you!i have one for the ipod touch, it's called stogie rate. i think it was $4.00 or $5.00. i did prefer to use an excel spreadsheet, but my wife deleted it... fml.
^^ That right there^^Well, I've been called a spreadsheet nerd... But I had a spreadsheet for a long time with inventory, and would fill in my notes when I did smoke one. At some point, I liberated myself. So, I don't keep any track at all, now. Sometimes I still go through withdrawal, and think about starting it, again... but I don't think I will.
Oh, yeah... and I got tired of Bob making fun of me for being OCD/anal... :disappoinWell, I've been called a spreadsheet nerd... Yup. Too much BS to worry about. I have an OK idea of what I have in the cooler all in my head. That's all I really need. :dunno:I started something like this when I first started smoking cigars. It quickly became more trouble then it was worth. I found myself forgetting to remove cigars from the list that I smoked, and everything went way out of wack.
I went through the same thing with my wine collection which made me not even try with cigars. Literally hundreds of bottles of wine and thousands of cigars, I tried cataloging my collections, but I would have smoked/drank dozens and acquired dozens more before I even had a 1/4 of the collection cataloged. I find my brain to a much better job remembering what single/bottle gems I have left and approximately how many I have left of favorites in a box, cabinet, or case when it comes to wine/booze.I started something like this when I first started smoking cigars. I do the same.I thought about this but decided against it. I kind of enjoy rummaging around in the humi to see what I want to smoke. I keep special sticks (64 padrons, liga privadas etc..) in a special section but other than that it's just random.
A very good idea, I have one of my humidors organized so that there's a section of "unsmokeable" cigars (super rare/expensive/super limited/out of production) and at this point thankfully all my friends I smoke with understand everything in there is off limits.I do the same.
I have 4 humidors and keep them stocked. I like to sift through them from time to time and find some gem that I forgot about years ago.
