So just a quick question. In the picture above. What's with all the open acid boxes on the table. Please tell me they are all Tim's haha
They are Lipher ' s. He is a big acid fan.
Actually they serve some of the food in cigar boxes. I think those were the fresh made chips.

I loved the old outlet store at CI. I used to fly into Allentown on business and the guys there were very nice to me. I bought many cigars to try and found many good and many many duds. These guys got their start buying up the stuff left after the boom for pennies on a dollar. They had or have a great return policy. I just got too many duds and as time passed, too many beat up sticks. I still buy occasionally, usually Diesels. Shipping is not their strong suit. Many time my sticks have come bouncing around the box. Not good.

I used them for a while before discovering CI and the the great Tax event. I never found the pricing that great at JR for quality sticks. A few years back the story was that JR and UPS were pushed around by the government and they handed over their mailing lists. Some people in CA, received nasty tax bills. I, like many others, felt more could have been done to protect the list.

I started using Famous when they became a sponsor. I try and use all of the sponsors but these guys make it difficult to go elsewhere. I can get my sticks shipped fast or free, it just depends on the need. The packaging is very good with lots of bubble wrap or pillows to keep the sticks safe. The pricing is great. I rarely if ever find a better price and then when you add in the 15% why look elsewhere? I have found quality bundles and secondary lines at Famous. Being basically broke from everything that happened this year I have been trying some everyday stuff. I really like the AB Sungrowns. I regularly smoke the Oliva Infernos. Hey if I cant afford a Oliva V this stick fills in nicely. I am addicted to Monster. Have the app on my phone and everyone knows the Monster laugh. Why not. It is fun, great prices and a break in my day. The people at Famous have also treated me well when I cant seem to make the internet links work. It is always my fault but they are patient and kind to a geezer. I know they support BOTL and it is my home.

You mentioned less expensive smokes: OK, please name me some Famous bundles which in your experience are as good as, if not better than, the CI Nics Bundles, and/or the JR Limited Edition Cuban Alternatives, more or less at the same price point...~ $ 2 - 2.50 price point.

I don't generally smoke bundled cigars, so I will leave the suggestions up to others, although I know that the Nicaraguan bundle 000s series sells well.
For the record, your comments are along the line of complaining that target doesn't carry the "great value" lines that Walmart has. JR, CI and famous have house brands and bundles exclusive to them.
I enjoy Tommy Zman & Gary Korb who do the videos and social media for Famous via Cigar Advisor. Funny but informative vids on the Cigar Advisor channel on youtube. That there's a reason for me to give Famous some of my business. They also do stuff on Facebook & instagram.
For what record??? You seem to have misread me: my question, not complaint, is simply: this is what I smoke from JR and CI. Those familiar with Famous: what smokes are comparable in quality and price to bundles like the JR Limited Selection Cuban Alternatives and/or CI's Nic 90+ Rated and/or Nic Boutique 2nds???
There may be many, few, or none; I don't know. Someone here may well have my answer. Chime in if you do.

Don't like Dominican, ok, how about Famous Nicaraguan Selection 4000 for 32 bucks. Don't want house brands, ok, La Zona Factory Selects, Quesada Factory Select, Grand Habano Factory seconds, Rocky Patel Factory Selects; all of these cigars are in line price wise with any other cigar site and and are comparable to the brands that you enjoy. Have I smoked them, no. Would I buy them, probably.
It's just like when all of us first started smoking cigars; Ya, gotta try em to know if ya like em.
