I finished A Dance with Dragons and now I'm reading Reinventing Gravity by David Moffatt. You'd have to be a physics buff to appreciate it (and some of it is over my head), but I like it so far...

Just started A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire #3) by George R. R. Martin. Can't hardly put these books down. It feels like I am there when I am reading, he realy has a way of making the story unfold all around you.
Just finished the available books. Read through them one after the other. Going to be a long wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed the book Confessions of a Cuban Cigar Smoker that was written by Addiction. The book was absolutely hilarious if you don't mind off color humor. I have never read a book before that actually made me laugh out loud. Addiction is the master of analogies. The book doesn't have a ton of talk about cigars, but I am glad because that would get quite boring after a few chapters. If you would like to read a humorous book with a little bit of cigar info mixed in, this is the book for you.

Finished Zero Day by David Baldacci which was good.

Now deep into Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell. Reading about what real heroes are and they are not some drug addicted, porn tape making, famous because they are rich celebrity. Our real heroes get no news coverage and I have been listening to Whitney Huston coverage for the last 8 or 9 days around the clock. Does anyone here know the name of the last US serviceman to die in combat recently? Why aren't they on the news around the clock and having their short lives honored and remembered by all?

After reading American Sniper and getting into this book it really opens my eyes to how seriously jacked up our priorities are.

Sorry for the short rant. I could keep going but instead I am going to finish this book and remember a few good heroes who lost their lives fighting for us.

Excellent choice! I LOVED Lone Survivor. A tear jerker for sure, but worth it. I was kinda disappointed to hear how much Patrick Robinson embellished the story... but that's okay. Still a great read.

Currently working through my stack of textbooks, yay midterms!
