Cons
1) You will get arrested trying to take them on the plane and be put in a very small room with big beefy TSA types.
2) Most of the beach is state park and verboten
3) 90% of the state is fireworks forbidden

That being said... Its like WWIII around here at 4th of July. All comes up from Mexico. Your risk dude. Do you know what city your in yet? Soe nice beaches up by Morro bay and some o the bay. Either way it will be very cool.

Well we're staying at his beach house in Morro Bay. We're actually staying the night in LA first and driving up to Morro the next day. We could totally hook up for a cigar if you wanted, but it'd be me and Scott (who recently got into cigars) and Kevin, who doesn't smoke cigars much. If you wanted to meet a a shop somewhere that'd be cool, but if not then I totally understand. As for restaurants, we'd definitely be down for some recommendations. Kevin (the one who lives out there) likes a steak place called AJ's (I think). Scott is allergic to seafood, so that kills about half the good restaurants. I'd love to hear some of your favs, as good food is a must on vacation.

AJ Spurs. I like McClintocks at Shell Beach also one in Paso I think. Taco Temple in Morro is world reknown. It a little place but great. No sea food really shortens the list. I'll think about it. When do you get into LA. You have to come through Ventura. Its right on the 101.

I am too old for spring break, so what I am going to do is spend an afternoon at my friends house drinking Scotch, smoking cigars, playing cards and watching "Girls gone wild".

Sounds exciting.

a large portion of GGW is filmed up river from my place! there's a sandbar about 1/2 mile north of Martinez Lake which is know as Sin City. lots and lots and lots of nudity! the last couple years, it's been lots and lots and lots of cops! absolute craziness....

gonna go for a few days!

The trip was awesome! The ocean was fun after I got a wetsuit. Pretty cold before that. We will definitely be coming back to his house at Morro Bay sometime this summer! I really liked that cigar shop, too. The owner was pretty cool.
Thanks again for the cigars! It was pretty generous of you to give us both some nice sticks.
