  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Spring Forward!

One bug I noticed this morning was that all our little "atomic clocks" around the house did not update correctly. They are supposed to retrieve radio signals from local sources that automatically reset the clocks to the correct time in the event of a power outage, etc. We even pressed the manual update button - but no effect.

Hmmmmm ...

Put baby furniture together from 1:30 am - 3:00 am. Surfed around a bit and watched a movie until 6:00 am. Went to bed.

For some reason when I'm on nights for the change and getting off an hour "earlier", I still feel like I put in 12 and just as tired.
Oddly enough, I get what you're saying. I do third shift security. When I posted that I was about half way through and thinking I'd appreciate not working that hour, but it felt just as long. Mostly, I think, because the boredom wears me out (gotta be that, seeing as how the job is cake & pie)
