I can't believe that people pay to hear that dude talk. Who charges for a BLOG?
A lot of people seem to view suckling as an unlikeable guy, or view him with some disdain.

I'm not entirely sure why. He always struck me as a guy who takes his enjoyment of wine and cigars serious, while not being too serious in his delivery or reputation - almost like an undertone of self-deprication. The whole "I'm 95 points on this" is kind of self-characaturization, to make up a word.

I'm not sure I'd pay for it, although I may, but I dont begrudge him for charging, nor do I think he hasn't a thing to offer.

I also don't have anything against those who dislike him. I'm certainly not a fan boy. I just don't understand why some people don't like him. Is there something from his career history that turned people off? Or just one of those guys who you don't like to listen to or look at? I'm curious.

His personality and approach to cigars are kind of bizarre. See the video where he smokes a PSD4 and an Epicure Especial simultaneously in Vegas. It's just insane, and he looks like he's on meth. Contrary to what you're saying, I come away from experiences like that feeling like he's glib and doesn't take what he does very seriously.

I enjoy Sucking for his entertainment value.

I feel he puts on a good “show”.

For some reason I just can’t figure the guy out. Like Skitalets mentioned he comes across to me as totally being overdosed on alprazolam or klonopin. or maybe he's just a real mmmmmeeeelllllooooooo kind of guy....LOL.

Smoking a cigar in tandem with another cigar is fine...actually you can make out more flavors that way. As fas as the Sig VI being number 1...well...most of us will never know what it is like to smoke a Cohiba fresh off the rollers table while in the factory in Cuba..I am sure he has many times.

I did that once with an Anejo and a San Cristobal because someone at the shop said they tasted exactly the same.

I kind of like Suckling.
