Ditto. Any reputable place should replace them for you, as they recover those losses from the manufacturer. Don't wait yoovlong, though. I'd call them today/tomorrow.

It is kinda weird that sticks in tubes can get damaged ... But what do I know.

For future reference for everyone else, always contact the retailer first about damaged product.

There are mechanisms in place to get this kind of stuff taken care of.

sorry to see that brother...

tubes i got were perfect. i did notice that there is a thin sheet of cedar rolled up on the inside.... which i did not expect as it had not been mentioned.

most likely the edge of it caught the end of the cigar as they were loading it in. Also, i am being ANALY careful when i pull these bad boys out of the tubes for that reason.

i would just ask for a discount and keep 'em. you're gonna be clipping that part off anyway... i doubt they'll smoke any different given the location of the damage.

No, just the cigars. The tubos were fine, it's just that I usually take all my cigars that tend to come in tubos out and store them in my humi. When I was taking them out to inspect them is when I noticed the damages.

No joke. I contacted the vendor and they instructed me to send the damaged ones back. They will be sending me another 5 when their second shipment arrives. I am in no hurry. I never ran into this sort of thing, that is why I was looking for some guidance. Both companies have a returning customer. Thanks all. :thumbsup:

Got a box of reds and blacks. The blacks looked and felt great. The reds on the other hand either had a busted foot or head and were very dry. Oh well. The vender was great will take them back. Now I'll need to search for reds again:frown: Thanks for the heads up about the boxes......my coolerdor smelt like paint.:cursing: Put the good cigars in different boxes.:thumbsup:
