Could be a cheat... but you could always make a regular box and then have each stick wrapped in an opaque sleeve... then a series of tabs layered as you pack the sticks in.

Open the box and there are the first five or eight tabs... and after you pull the first set of tabs the next row appears beneath it...

Now that it's on the page... it seems less magical... but maybe that'll inspire someone elses brainstorming?

I joked about the 12 days of Xmas before but I like this idea way better.......Plus how do you make a cigar like two turtle doves....
Special second bands for the cigars. Partridge, turtle doves, french hens, golden rings etc. Sweet.

You could put each stick in there own tube and maybe some sort of humidification device in each.

The tube could be numbered with the day you smoke it. Its cooler around the holidays so maybe temp wont be too big of a problem.

I love the ideas and the stick Pete keep em coming.

If I did it, i would make the box out of heavy cardboard with a plastic insert with vent holes to house the cigars with a Humidipak in a special compartment in the plastic housing to keep it humidified. My friends at Humidipak would be happy to work on this one with me.......Man, maybe I should patent this before i talk about it so much.......

Maybe make some really nice furniture pieces for some folks, that could display above the fireplace and the packs you are talking about as well as standalones as well as refills for the nice one.... Could just refill it year to year with the pack...
