What exactly does this mean? I have not seen this in any of them yet. I know the Cazadores come packaged like this, but what is the purpose, and what's the result on the cigars?

Is it the same foil as the RyJ Cazadores? One more question: how exactly does someone "wet" foil?

I think it means that as soon as they are rolled when they are still "wet" they are foil wrapped. At that point I thought the cigars were done fermenting though. Beyond what it is I don't know the purpose of wet packing. I do know they smell fantastic when you rip open that foil though.

"The foil helps to preserve the aroma & oils from the sticks - keeping them fresh, potent & allows them to age a bit differently than non-foil wrapped bundles."

This is a quote from AJ (Soundwave13).

The key being "Packed immediately after rolling". Putting them in foil at any other time is just pretty packaging for the most part. The latter is what happened with the T110's that were foil wrapped, they were rolled many months before they were wrapped in foil, thus the benefit if any was lost.

I can tell that you that every Padron Anni is wrapped with a soaking wet wrapper and then immediately boxed and shipped within 24 hours. No foil, but the wet wrapper is supposed to capture the oils and enhance the aroma of the aged tobacco, per the above explanation.

I thought the foil was for when you can't finish the cigar. You just wrap it back up, make a pretty swan shape, and take it home for later. :scratchhe
