  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Slightly different, but that reminds me of a time when ATCDub and I were in a stake body truck on the DC Beltway in a traffic backup. Some a**wipe in a Porsche figured his time was more important than everyone elses and was flying up the right shoulder. Dub eased the truck far enough over on the shoulder so that he was blocked behind us. That guy was so pissed he was cussing his head off, slamming the wheel and veins were popping out of his skull. We held him there, crawling along, until we could see a VA state trooper with someone pulled over just around a slight curve ahead. Dub popped the truck back over into the travel lane and the guy raced past us with a one-finger salute..............right up behind the trooper! Man, I don't think I've ever seen a trooper so pissed at a motorist! It was a great moment in traffic jam history!
