Oh, man! Curds are fantastic. Especially when you get them so fresh they squeak when you chew them.
They're not what they sound like, not sour or anything. Just cheese. Cheese with a rich, buttery flavor and springy texture.

Cheese curds are my favorite!!! I got some fresh ones in Wisconsin when we were there a few years ago and they were incredible. I can't find them here in Michigan without some serious searching and then they're not fresh.

Pleasant Ridge chili was it's name on Montgomery road.
The best was drunk at a denny's and ordering chili cheese fries and had bacon added to it. The waitress asked if there was a heat doctor in the place incase I needed one.
my taste buds are going crazy but my chest hurts just thinking about it. Question, is Mike Sells and Kraft Bacon and Cheddar a heart healthy choice for a snack?

Pork rinds sprinkled with some hot sauce (Arizona Gunslinger is my latest favorite)are a damn good snack with a cold beer.
