Many times in my life I have walked up to a wall. The wall was to long to go around. The wall was to high to go over. The wall ran too deep to go under. What I had to learn is that the wall was so thin I could walk right thru.

Damn, I know some of the pain you're going through Gavin, really enjoyed burning sticks with you last year, I'll be out of town this week but maybe we can get together some time later in the month. I'm sure you could use some decompressing. I'll be in contact, glad to have ya back man!
This is why I love you guys and was in such a bad place when I couldn't enjoy what brought us all together. Earlier this year a close friend to me on the board was going through a wicked divorce and we all came together to pull him though and set his mind straight. We where all letting him know everything that was great in his life and trying to put it into perspective for him; but as soon as I tried to tell myself the same stuff it wasn't helping and it put me even lower.
Rom- I live in naperville now; basically 59 and 88 so im not to far from burning leaf and la vita (which if i recall your not too far from). Ill be in touch and we will definitely be grabbing a smoke soon.
Piddy- Thanks for the lift, I will make the trip north to see you soon or put something together so that we can celebrate your wedding in style brother!
fourkicks- WE WILL BE SMOKING SOON, Ive got the number and will make time to chill with the man that love the liga as much as I do

As of late I have been getting to Chicagoland every 4-6 weeks and as a matter of fact I was just in Naperville on Tuesday (on my way from West Chicago to Bolingbrook) and then back through on Thursday afternoon.
In the meantime, keep your chin up and smoke happy my friend!

glad to see youre back Gavin.. and glad to see youve pulled through the toughest part of all of this and are starting to get back to normalcy..
Im sure more than a few of us have been down similar roads at one time or another (I have at least).. push yourself to stay active... dig into your hobbies.. and find news ones... do things that relieve stress like hit the gym.. go run a couple of miles.. etc..etc.. just stay focused on positive things (your health, your family, your friends, etc..).. and stay busy...
down time is when your mind wanders... thats not what you need...
time heals all wounds dude.. staying active speeds up the process exponentially though.. its excellent medicine for the mind and the soul...

Hey Gavin, don't worry about the blind review sticks. there are still a lot of the blind review sticks out there waiting to be reviewed from the pass, so no rush for anyone. I've stopped reminding/asking people about them because I don't want anyone to review them when they don't feel like it, figured they will be reviewed eventually and even if they don't its not a big deal. Just glad your back and smoking again, hope you have smoked some nice stuff since your return
Gavin, I have been through almost the exact same thing. A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away my first wife decided about a month AFTER the wedding that she didn't want to be married to me after all. I know the exact feelings you had/have, and you handled it much better than I did. It takes a long time to get over that kind of pain, trust me, I know. The key is to stay involved in POSITIVE activites with positive people. And BOTL definitely qualifies as a positive place with positive and supportive people.
