Thank you for the post. Nothing is more moving, or can overcome sadness than the flag draped coffin. It is an emotional experience, overcome by pride. I have lost both of my grandfathers, served in World War 2, and my father, served in Vietnam. With tradition, it is amazing that even down to the last man, nobody ever forgets a fallen veteran.

Thanks for the post Ciggy. When I was on I&I Staff (Inspector/Instructor) that was one of the duties assigned us to preform those ceremonies.

in my brief time as a boy scout, we learned how to properly fold a flag. i remember taking great pride in doing it correctly. i wonder if it is still taught?
