Exactly. We can't afford those "precious" Cubans anyways, so there really is no point in having them here anyways. I don't know many americans that would pay $30 for a Monte #2 or $50 for a Cohiba Siglo V that is legal here if they lived here.
I go into a B&M and find a cigar like a Padron 2000 .... for me to buy that here was $20, any american can get that for $6-7, now that is fair and fine by me due to the fact that I know the store needs to make a bit of money, but the taxes kill any hope of smoking cigars....Cuban or not. I cannot afford to shop in the B&M's much anymore due to that fact, when I can get everything for less than half the price online delivered to me. I try to help out the stores when I have a few extra bucks, but lets be real, I can get a box of Oliva Serie V Belicoso for the price that I would pay for 5 of them in the stores. :sadcry:
The thing is, Cuban quality has deminished to the point in the last 3 years that I am enjoying everything else much more, plus I get a larger variety of smokes to choose from.
