We cannot let him go to college in chains
We cannot let the evil that is woman bind him while he is still weak
We must help him so he can partake of the ripe womanly flesh that is college womens
Me must not allow him to be led astray in his time of need
He knows not what he forsakes...

Y'all are assuming the monogamous model of marriage, which not everybody has to automatically subscribe to.

do yourself a favor and at least sip at the fountain of youthful treasure that is college life.
Amen. Paul, you're a nice guy so I'm gonna give my $0.02 here when normally I'd probably just move on after reading everyone's replies. I had serious relationships (if you can really call them that) in high school, but went off to college single. I didn't stay that way and ended up dating this girl for 3 years. That's an very long time to be in a relationship and finally we had to either say this is going somewhere or it's not...she's not my wife. After we broke up I had more fun that at any other time I was at college, just doing whatever and being carefree (though not too carefree if you catch my drift young man...bag it before you tag it). Once I graduated I moved back home for a while and met a girl. We were together for almost two years and lived together for most of it. It's not something I usually talk about, but we even have a son together (long, complicated story in it's own right) who I don't get to see much because she lives in another state now. So finally we come to the period of my life where I met my wife. How do we manage to work when other relationships have failed? I chalk it up to the realistic view of love that we both share. Anyway what I'm trying (horribly I think) to get at is just because you may share something in common doesn't mean you shouldn't be very leery of getting married at your age. Now I realize I'm not as old as some that are giving you advice on here (cough - Bob - cough ), but I have been through some stuff that looking back I have to shake my head and go boy oh boy was I stupid. Just my thoughts, however badly stated they may be. Do with them what you will.

That said, nice though that you found a girl that shares your interest. Hope it works out for you, just be careful...for your sake and hers.

Dan

Paul,

As Rihanna sings the chorus in that "T.I." song... "Live Your Life Hayyyaaaaay Hayaaaaaay Hayaaay!"
Be Young, have fun, and if she sticks around, then worry about marriage. If you want
her for a girlfriend, fine, but let the marriage thing go for a while brotha...

One of these days when she "Pisses you off real bad"... You'll be thanking
me and D Price! :stretchgr
