That heat wave we just had was brutal! Your right it was way more muggy than usual... The rain right before didn't help.Been over 100 for almost two weeks here and one week above 110. Only time I'm smoking is on the golf course in the morning. We normally don't have much for humidity, but have had a bit more than normal. Sucks!
You guys are getting that, too? It is muggy here (more than normal) and it heated up quick... still, can't complain because I have yet to see triple digits. That heat wave we just had was brutal! east greenbush? wow, your in albany too. Lots of albany folk recently. I used to live in Loudonville on east ridge road behind sienna college and schuyler meadows country club.Yup its rained here in e greenbush every day for a month but its better than snow.
I had tickets to all 3 days but had to give them to a buddy because of work. Super bummed about thatYou should have been at SPAC last weekend watching Phish smoking the good stuff!!!
Seriously, you get acclimated to the weather. Down here in SC/GA the heat does not bother me too much, at least after I put in a ceiling fan on the screened in rear deck.
These "new" mosquitoes that are here are huge and relentless! Fogging seems to be the only thing that keeps them away, go to Home Depot and get the black flag fogger, it's about a $80 investment, but it's worth it's weight in gold! I fog every couple days, and it makes a HUGE difference. If I'm havin people over I'll fog bout an hour before anyone gets here. Bout the only thing I've found that actually works IMHO. The thing that has been killer though is the massive amount of mosquitoes! Suckers have been out in full force and will tear you up, they seem to not give a crap about bug spray or our tiki torches.
Think I was looking at that a few weeks ago. Its also been a few weeks since I have seen the fogger truck drive by and I have seen zero fly overs. These "new" mosquitoes that are here are huge and relentless!
