That's an older pick, havent had the silver badge for some years now. And barrel 5281 is a ways back too. Probably 2018 or before.
Thank you, I knew the label was the old style too but didn't know how to date it. A friend in Cali sent it, and it's really tasty.

I am not a big fan of finished whiskey, but grabbed two tater picks to support a FB group. Both MGP, one is finished in a tawny port barrel and the other in a honey barrel. Not expecting much, although I am hearing some good things about Good Times.

I had some Warbringer War Master last night. It definitely packs a punch. It was a little sweet, but I could still taste the mesquite smoke for a very long time.

I don't usually drink bourbon and this one definitely wouldn't be something I recommend to people sitting on the fence.

Fellas! Here’s some of my pours while I was away.

Released in late 2020. This was quite the favorite at my lounge. Only paid $34 and I like it waaaay more then OGD114

Not terrible.

Still not crazy about this one, I’m not sure I get the hype.

Gravitating towards Ryes still, and this was tasty.

Gotta represent the Garden State! This one took everyone by surprise. Notes of Copper, still water, and grains. Not exactly what you might call a sophisticated whiskey. However it was embraced by everyone who tried it. Some even went back for second pours. Made from New Jersey Corn and grains...which we do pretty well here.

Yup another Rye

This one packed a serious punch. Needed a drop of Kentucky limestone water to bring it down in volume...rare for me I know.

Decided to throw this one in there just because. I’m slowly getting into Japanese whiskies. Prefer them infinitely over most scotch
