I'll have to start looking harder I guess. . .For some reason, it is getting easier to find Weller by me (except for 12yr)

It's different. Smooth. They basically took the identical grain bill used to make mikkeller's beer geek stoutHow was it? I've been thinking about picking up a bottle.
I have a few places it shows up to, off the beaten pathI'll have to start looking harder I guess. . .
OK, I just picked this one up to see how it stacks up to other wheaters like Makers 46, Bernheim, Costo/Kirkland 7 year bourbon which I think is private labeled Bernheim... Never had Wellers or any Pappy as they are impossible to find here...
Would love to hear what everyone's favorite wheat bourbon is...
Nice all around.Sitting & Enjoying a nice Glencairn of 4 Roses Single Barrel (neat) while ENJOYING seeing President Trump being Sworn into office. MAGA!

I've heard of this recipe thing with four roses but looking at the bottle I don't see any markings of a recipe. I bought it from a very reputable local liquor chain too. What is the recipe?

Thanks. You seem to be very knowledgable on the subject of Bourbon. I can respect that for sure. I've only been into the hobby for less than 2 years but am loving (almost) every bottle I buy (so far 13). Absolutely had zero taste for anything that had hard alcohol in it prior, than I came upon this site and it changed everything for me. (Just wanted to share it with you guys)@BourbonBinder The regular bottling of 4 Roses Single barrel is OBSV and is not stated on regular release bottles. The Private Selection bottles will have the recipe. The small batch is made up of barrels of 4 of the 10 recipes and the yellow label is made up of all 10 recipes. Check this out for all you want to know. http://sippncorn.blogspot.com/2015/01/sippn-corn-bourbon-review-10-recipes-of.html
I've been looking at this every time I go I the liquor store but haven't picked it up yet. Might be the next bottle I try.
Bought and opened today. Definitely can see Heaven Hill in tasting. I liked it much more the last few sips. Excited to see how it opens up in a couple weeks.
