Brian, I usually wait 3 weeks minimum for my second pour, but this has only been open 12 days. In all honestly, I liked the first pour better, but both were good. I'll hit it up again in about 10 more days and be more definitive then.Tom -
How was it now that it has been open for a bit?
Brian
Oh no, it's a good one. Lots of cinnamon in this stuff, as well as some spice. But SO smooth, even for its proof. I recommend it.Distiller's Collection? Just curious is it a good dram or are we just putting lipstick on a pig?
Definitely recommend it! The Old Forester 1910 I cracked open was delicious too, at 20ish lower proof. Lots of banana flavor there, and some dark caramel-type stuff. Thanks I'll keep my eyes open for it.
I have not, but I know exactly the one you are taking about because it has an awesome bottle. I'd be interested to hear your experience when you snag that bottle. I have been loving anejos lately.OF 1910 Already on my shelf
Hey @Texican instead of jumping over to the Tequila thread, quick question. Have you ever tried Mi Familia Flores Crystalino Anejo? Had a taste (while half mashed from a wine tasting), an almost cotton candy meets tequila thing going on. Waiting on a bottle to come in so I can do a more in depth assessment.
