I did a tasting of 15 Elijah Craig Barrel Proof batches last year, and to my surprise B520 topped my list. A lower proof point than most of my favorites, but the depth of flavors is amazing. I was able to pick up another bottle and cracked it last night. It did not disappoint.

I finished a 1792 Full Proof single barrel (Binny's) earlier this week so I opened one from another local chain (Sal's) to see if it's worth having a backup. I think it is.

Followed it up with a pour of Stagg Jr. Batch 15.
