I gotta say, I am nearing a point where I'm almost "done" with the 5 Vegas brand. Every stick I've had from them has been disappointing, or in the case of the Gold Maduro, terrible.
The Triple A was a beautifully oily maduro, packed tight but with a nice loose draw.
But it was bland, bland, bland. The flavours were of a muted coffee and chocolate, and there were absolutely no changes throughout this 5 x 56 stick.
They were pleasant flavours, for sure, but I wanted (and was kind of expecting) more complexity.
The only thing that really blew my socks off was how long the ash held on - past the halfway point! That was cool!
I'm hoping in earnest that this may be a case of "saving the best for last", because I have a couple 5 Vegas Miami's in my humi that I have yet to try.
But so far, I'm not impressed with this label.
