I figured I would start to learn about scotch. Picked up a bottle of glenfiddich 'snow phoenix' limted edition single malt scotch.

Gonna fire up a cohiba reserva piramide to see if I like the pairing.

W B Brand Maduro Torpedo I was gifted. A fairly middle of the road, meh maduro. Nothing really jumping out at me. Was surprised to see how much they cost when I looked into it.

It's actually really good, despite a tough draw.

I kind of don't get why there's no Monte in a 7x47 format cause it would be an ideal smoke. (And no, I'm not gonna clip 2" off an "A".

Glad you liked! It is a milder Whisky but with a lot of fruit notes and subtleties, which is a juxtaposition of the younger and older casks.

I thought it paired well with most of the cigars I had with it... Saltier, woody ones and pepper sticks were kind of the exceptions. Seemed to work very well with most CCs and Doms, which is more my flavor preference.
