Had a couple of these now. Anyone else notice that the first inch or two of these don't have much going on, and then bam! You get some of the Monte notes?
Also, the wrappers on these are a bit more rustic... Almost like a Padron.
In general it is an aromatic cigar, with a lot on the retrohale and only a bit on the palate. A good cigar but so far not showing me that they are worth the price tag, MSRP or otherwise. I'm really hoping the 54s live up to expectations a bit more.
I'm hoping some additional downtime helps these, but there doesn't seem to be a ton going on to begin with so it is more of a "hope" than an expectation....
