Very strong pepper on the retro, but soft, creamy, fruity & nutty on the palate at the start. Just getting into the second third now & the initial pepper that was so strong through the nose at the beginning has smoothed out. Getting a hay like grassiness with creamy cedar & some fruity notes (almost like dried figs). The nutty flavors are still there & that banana note that I loved in the OR is in the background. Fabulous cigar. Gonna be hard to not get a box. I just hate paying that much for a cigar, regardless of how good it is though.

How was it?

I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the D4. The burn wasn't great either...wavy at best. Bit of a letdown to be honest.
