So I fired up this mystery Gurkha last night:
It was thoroughly mediocre at best, and I wanted a good smoke to cap off a great day. Somewhere between thinking this and walking back to the cooler, I remembered the one Gurkha I intentionally bought, a Ghost. The review I watched said it was better than a Flor de las Antillas. That must be some cigar I thought, definitely worth a $7.50 gamble. And hey, I can compare all my Gurkhas at once.
We'll let me tell you, this was a total dog rocket, not even in the same universe as a My Father. No flavor, other than dirt, and the wrapper cracked and came apart the whole way. "Whole" is defined here as 1/2, as that is all I could endure.
Thanks for letting me waste some bandwidth recounting this horror. Maybe I can help you put your $7.50 towards something worthy. But you wouldn't have bought a Gurkha anyway right, not even for 372% off MSRP?
