I tried making a prickly pear beer before. I found out the hard way that prickly pear can easily overpower the beer... Gonna try again when the prickly pears are ripe, I make sure I pick mine by hand out in the desert. I can't trust produce from the stores around me

Haha. That's legit man! It's not as dark as I usually like. And s little more bitter that I would like, but the pear flavor is a nice compliment especially in the aftertaste.
