It was the AWS. Not my first, but the first that did this! They're very good sticks. Guess I got a bum one or one that had gone through something weird before lighting. I ended up cutting it in half and it smoked great the rest of the way.
Glad you like it! That's one of the first sticks I've rolled so it has almost 2 months rest. Sounds like I need to revisit that blend again!

@mistaforty and I are on the same page tonight. A couple of brothers, @rev.b and @Smoqman each gifted me one of these at the Hillbilly Herf. This will be my next NC box purchase. Simply a terrific cigar.
