Now I'm still new to this so have never really picked up on the subtle flavour notes and as such I haven't ruled out it may have been the beer or something I ate, but I could swear there was a strong flavour of aniseed with this smoke... Dunno but I hope it's my palette developing ! #lovingtheslope

Quite possibly my favorite cigar so far this year. Love the earthy flavor profile, love the size, burn and draw were spot on. And that's after less than a week of rest in my humidor. Can't wait to see what these are like in a couple months.
